CPR Health Provider (American Heart Association):
CPR skills needed to assist victims of all ages, including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device and oxygen, us of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). Intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. Designed for certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed health-care professionals. Students will receive their BLS Provider card digitally via email upon the succesful completion of class. Note: This CPR course meets pre-requisite requirements for various allied health programs at CAC. Recertification for a BLS Provider card required every two years per American Heart Association standards. (This training is open to all ages. It is recommended that students 15 years or younger enroll with a parent or guardian.)
